MyCredWall Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how MyCredWall collects, uses, stores and discloses information when you use mycredwall.com and related MyCredWall services.
2. Information you provide
We may process information you provide when creating or using an account, including your name, email address, username, professional headline, biography, location information you choose to provide, career history, education, credentials, licenses, certifications, awards, accomplishments, projects, publications, testimonials, community service, interests, professional links and other profile content.
3. Documents, images and supporting evidence
MyCredWall may store resumes, CVs, profile photographs, gallery images, diplomas, certificates, licenses, awards and other evidence that you choose to upload. You control whether supported information is public, private, listed or otherwise restricted through available visibility settings.
You should review and redact uploaded files before submitting them. Do not upload highly sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial-account information, passwords, tax identifiers, full payment-card information or medical records.
4. Support and communications
When you contact customer support or use MyCredWall's support tools, we may process your name, email address, message, support category, the page from which the request was submitted and related correspondence. Support messages may be stored so we can respond, troubleshoot problems, improve the service and maintain records of customer requests.
5. AI-assisted features
When you deliberately use an AI-assisted feature, content you submit to that feature may be processed by an artificial-intelligence service provider as necessary to provide the requested function. MyCredWall's site-wide help assistant does not automatically inspect your private documents or evidence simply because you open the chat. Where a feature requires document processing, you choose the document or information to submit.
6. Automatically collected technical information
Like most online services, MyCredWall and its infrastructure providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, session identifiers, security events and similar diagnostic information used to operate, secure and improve the service.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
MyCredWall may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication, session management, security and application functionality. Analytics or other optional technologies may be introduced as the platform evolves; this policy and any required consent mechanisms will be updated when appropriate.
8. How we use information
We may use information to create and maintain accounts; provide profile, document, gallery and sharing features; operate public or private CredWalls according to your settings; provide AI-assisted features; respond to support requests; secure and troubleshoot the platform; send transactional communications; prevent fraud and abuse; improve the service; comply with law; and administer subscriptions when billing is enabled.
9. Public profiles and search indexing
If you publish a public CredWall, information you choose to make public can be viewed without signing in. If search indexing is enabled, search engines and other discovery services may crawl, index, cache or reproduce public information. MyCredWall cannot control copies retained by third parties after information has been made public.
10. Service providers
MyCredWall uses specialized providers to operate the service. Depending on the feature, providers may include infrastructure and hosting services, database and file-storage providers, authentication services, artificial-intelligence providers, email-delivery providers, domain/email providers and payment processors when billing is enabled. These providers process information as necessary to perform services for MyCredWall and are subject to their own contractual and privacy obligations.
11. Payments
When paid subscriptions are enabled, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment processor. MyCredWall does not intend to store full payment-card numbers in its own application database. The payment processor's privacy policy will apply to information it processes.
12. Disclosure of information
We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf; when required by law, legal process or a valid governmental request; to investigate fraud, abuse or security threats; to protect rights, property or safety; in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition; or with your direction or consent.
13. Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
MyCredWall does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices change, MyCredWall will update this policy and provide any opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.
14. Data security
MyCredWall uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. However, no internet service, database, storage system or transmission method is guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and carefully choosing what information you make public.
15. Data retention
Information may be retained while your account is active and for reasonable periods afterward when necessary for backups, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution and legitimate operational purposes. Retention periods may vary by data type and service provider.
16. Your choices
You may edit supported profile information, change visibility settings, remove content and control whether supported public profiles are intended for search indexing. Additional privacy rights may apply based on your place of residence. See Your Privacy Choices.
17. Marketing communications
If MyCredWall sends optional marketing email in the future, you may opt out using the unsubscribe mechanism in those messages. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional, security, billing or support communications.
18. Age
MyCredWall is not intended for children under 18 to independently create and manage accounts. Requirements for students, minors or school-related use will be evaluated before any program directed to minors is offered.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as MyCredWall adds features, vendors or legal requirements. The current version and update date will be posted here.
20. Contact
Privacy questions or requests may be sent to support@mycredwall.com. A physical mailing address and telephone contact may be added after MyCredWall finalizes its business contact information.
