Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

Effective and last updated: September 1, 2026

Respect for ownership. MyCredWall respects the intellectual-property rights of creators, customers and third parties. This policy is incorporated into the MyCredWall Terms of Use.

1. MyCredWall materials

Unless otherwise identified, the MyCredWall name, logos, software, source code, interface, page designs, graphics, original text, documentation, workflows and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to MyCredWall LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.

Using the service does not grant permission to copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer or commercially exploit MyCredWall materials or branding except as expressly authorized by law or in writing by MyCredWall LLC.

2. Customer content

Customers retain ownership of lawful content they submit. They grant MyCredWall only the limited, non-exclusive license described in the Terms of Use to host, store, process, back up, format, transmit and display that content as needed to operate the service and honor their visibility choices. MyCredWall does not claim ownership of customer content.

Each customer represents that they own their submitted content or have sufficient permission to use and display it. Material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights is prohibited.

3. Copyright-infringement notices

If you believe content available through MyCredWall infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to the designated copyright agent below. The notice should include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list when the notice covers multiple works.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information to locate it, preferably the exact URL.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice may result in liability. MyCredWall may send the notice, including the complainant's contact information, to the affected customer or otherwise disclose it as required to administer the process.

4. Response to notices

MyCredWall may remove or disable access to material after receiving a valid notice, notify the affected customer, preserve relevant records and take other appropriate action. MyCredWall may contact a complainant to clarify an incomplete notice but is not required to act on a notice that does not substantially satisfy applicable requirements.

5. Counter-notifications

If your material was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that occurred because of mistake or misidentification, you may send the designated agent a written counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed or disabled material and its former location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number.
  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.

MyCredWall may provide the counter-notification to the original complainant. Unless that complainant notifies MyCredWall that a court action has been filed, MyCredWall may restore the material no fewer than 10 and no more than 14 business days after receiving a compliant counter-notification.

6. Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, MyCredWall will terminate accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe copyright. MyCredWall may consider valid notices, counter-notifications, court findings, retractions and other relevant facts. MyCredWall may also suspend an account or remove content after a single serious infringement when warranted.

7. Other intellectual-property complaints

Trademark, right-of-publicity and other intellectual-property complaints may be sent to legal@mycredwall.com with identification of the right asserted, the challenged material and its location, the basis for the complaint, and the complainant's complete contact information. This DMCA process applies specifically to copyright claims.
